Dustborn dev team calls out Cyber-Bullying for their Game that promotes bullying

Some jokes write themselves

Dustborn was launched on August 20, 2024. The Game amassed an all-time peak of 76 players on Steam and the developers have expressed their dissatisfaction through a community post on their Twitter/X page

This Community post reached over 10 million impressions, the developer team expressed themselves and made it clear that they will not tolerate any hate speech coming from their community. It’s true that no hate speech should be allowed, but the irony stands that this Game is based on hate speech, bullying and social concepts that would not be allowed in society. So if you are going to make a Game that promotes this behavior, you should also be the one to be able to take it after all.

The truth about Dustborn is that very few Gamers, if any bothered to play the Game because they were not interested, those few that played it didn’t like it and Red Thread Games used the opportunity to take on the criticism by shutting everyone down which caused a whole lot of drama, perhaps if the game was not filled with political agendas and propaganda, it would do significantly better in the Gaming Market
